Vanuatu

Well we did go to the country of Vanuatu. We stayeed in a small town called Port Villa. It was a great experence meeting the Elders and Sisters who came in from all of the Islands which are part of the country. There were 29 in all and they are very good Missionaries. They speak a form of pigion english which is called Bislomic. It is so funny to lister to When they pray they address God as Pa Pa father in heaven! It is so beautiful with white beaches all around the Island. We stayed at a very nive Hotel called the Sebel and felt spoiled to have such nice accomadation.
The Zone conferance went well and Mom and I did our portion of the training which was fun. They had a P-day the first day we arrived and we went to one of the new branch buildings and played games and had lunch. That nioght we watched the video "On the Lords errand" we brought from home. That night Mom went with the Sisters and had a Sisters night and ate and what ever girls do!. The President and one of the senior couple Elders and myself had a Elders night and played tweo fun games and had Ice cream.
The couple who are over there live on an Island called Santo. It is premative but they live in a beautiful flat which over looks the ocean. The pictures they showed us of their Island were beautiful.
It was a great experence and we were tired when we got back to the busy life in Suva.
We went to our ward yesterday and fell the Lord is working magic as we try and get things in the ward activated again. We had a ward conferance which went well. The Bishop actually looked at the members when he spoke. He is so insecure and shy. It is like a different world being in the ward but we are in love with the people.
